Health and Safety

This is majorly important in what ever you are doing but even more so when you are filming as there are numerous incidents that can occur:
When holding the camera the holder might not pay attention and trip especially on uneven ground
Actors must be very careful with props as in an example you are using a knife as a prop you must always put it down when you are not using it and you must never run with as you could easily trip and cause harm.

Our opening is being shot in a wood so there are few hazards we must take note of:
- The ground is going to be very uneven especially with the small streams that run through it and the large amount of branches and stumps sticking out of the ground which could trip an actor or anyone else up.
-         In a wood at the time of filming a large amount of logging is going to occur so we must stay away from areas that are being logged.
-         We must also make sure we have a first aid kit with us in case someone sustains an injury.

mermento

memento analysis
this film is designed to run in a non-linear faction which starts where it should end and work back on its self in a very irregular fashion. the unique-ness of this film doesn't end there setting the main character up to have the biggest floor of all the characters in the film and yet finding ingenuitive and original ways of keeping memory's safe (tattooing).
the mise-en scene is set in a run down part of America which appears to be not out of the ordinary for the era in which it is set my person all option 1990's which fits with the conitations of corrupt cops of America for that time, which, is why it works so well although the story and plot are non-linear the time and location are accurate for our perceptions for that time. there is one main non-diagetic sound running for most of the film that is the main characters thoughts and reasoning. however, just because this is the largest doesn't mean it is the most important non-diagetic sound equal to it i importance is the gun shot/ the echoing and the wind effect.
along-side the non-diagetic sounds there were if you like non-diagetic visual effects which emphasise and make the whole scene far more entente. these visual effects included; slowing of time/ and blurring of shot which all are placed carefully to give the viewer the scene of being him in an attempt to get the audience to empathise with him.
each shot has been chosen for a reason, first to make the audience feel as one with the character, second to empathise certain objects (gun close up) and third to show maximum emotion (extreme facial close ups)
